Platform

Our platform is built on three key pillars: combating school violence, addressing mental health, and standing unwaveringly by our members, including clerical staff, custodians, paraprofessionals, food service workers, security, operations and maintenance, bus drivers, and bus matrons. As a member of the Special Local Government Schools Committee, the State School Task Force, and the Region 1 School Committee, I bring valuable connections and resources to support our efforts. Additionally, each member of our team brings unique strengths and expertise to the table, ensuring a well-rounded and collective approach to addressing challenges. Together, we are committed to creating safer schools by tackling violence head-on through advocacy, resources, and actionable solutions. At the same time, we prioritize the mental health and overall well-being of our members, ensuring they feel supported, valued, and empowered. Our mission is rooted in solidarity, safety, and strength, for both our schools and our union family.
