I was born in Staten Island, NY, and moved to Kings Park in 1979 before eventually settling in Middle Island in 2001 to start my family. I have worked in the Longwood School District since March 2008. About four years ago, I became a union shop steward to address issues such as favoritism and to advocate for the fair treatment of CSEA members. My primary goal is to ensure that our staff is treated with respect, that their hard work is recognized and valued, and that our contract is upheld. We are an essential part of the school's success, and I am committed to ensuring our contributions are never overlooked. I am deeply committed to community activism and advocacy. I proudly support Helping Makes U Happy, a nonprofit led by Keith, a young adult with Down syndrome, who dedicates his time to helping those in need. I actively participate in local initiatives that promote equity, fairness, and community improvement, including organizing fundraisers, advocating for workplace rights, and volunteering at events that directly benefit families and individuals in need. My dedication to activism stems from a lifelong passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of others. I am devoted to creating a better future for our district and community through tireless service and advocacy.
